Vatsalya Sindhu (A Home for Destitute Boys)
As part of child care Keshava Seva Samithi started VATSALYA SINDHU (Home for Destitute boys) in Secunderabad on 25th of December 1989. Vatsalya Sindhu selects boys between age group 3 to 12 years from deserving poor and down-trodden families, who are not having parents or any other's support and admit them in VATSALYA SINDHU by providing them food, clothing, education up to X class and bring them
in a homely atmosphere.
At present 47 boys are there in rolls and for the last 25 years around 124 destitute boys have been benefited through this institution. After completion of minimum education up to X class, these boys will be provided technical training in vocational trades or further education depending upon the child skills and interest, so that they live on their own and we have succeeded in this direction.
Appeal by Keshava Samithi:
Keshava Seva Samithi has decided to expand the services to more needy. The current accommodation at Vatsalya Sindhu orphanage is insufficient and will need a larger space that can accommodate 120 Orphans. The accommodation will be a multi-purpose center for medical aid, Education and Skill development for the 4 slums around the present premises at Upparguda, Moulali.
The new accommodation building which would be a center for surrounding 4 slums and the children of Orphanage to cater to their Education, Medical aid and Skill development needs an estimated Rs. 1.5 crores. Keshava Seva Samithi is working to raise the required funds with the help of Philanthropist individuals and corporate.
Keshava Seva Samithi makes an earnest appeal to all the philanthropists and kind hearted friends to support our endeavor by extending their moral physical and financial support for the service of our Nation. We earnestly hope that you would respond to our appeal very favorably and extend your helping hand to this noble and sacred cause.
